| Ranked third among 116 wines in the laudable Bourgeois Classic Wine Trophy organized by the Wine
Factory in cooperation with Air France in November 1998. The Wine Factory is the South African agent for Preteux Bourgeois corks and Briolet barrels. | South African Veritas Wine Awards 1998: Gold Medal; among the top 20 South African Pinotages chosen
by the South African Pinotage Association at the 1st of October 1998. Four stars in a tasting of the German Wine Magazine Selection (autumn 1998 issue). Only four of seventeen Pinotages received four stars. The other three were L’Avenir 1996, Grangehurst 1996 and Wildekrans 1997. Four stars (Wine Magazine August 1999, p 23); only nine wines received four or more stars. |
